While touring the exhibition halls, I take photos of the high windows of the museum. It is already dusk, and the rectangular windows appear as black shapes in the image. Two slide projectors project these images, like a frieze, onto the adjacent walls. The angle of the two projectors compensates for the distortion of the shooting angle. Resembling abstract fields of light, they cast bright reflections onto the museum walls. The starting point—a two-dimensional photograph—is spatialized, the image projected back into the room.

Anlässlich der Besichtigung der Ausstellungsräume fotografiere ich die hochliegenden Fenster des Kunstmuseums. Es dämmert schon, die fotografierten Rechtecke der Fenster erscheinen im Schwarz der Aufnahme. Zwei Diaprojektoren projizieren diese Lichtbilder, wie ein Fries auf die angrenzenden Wände. Durch die Schrägstellung der beiden Projektoren gleicht sich die Verzerrung des Aufnahmewinkels aus. Abstrakten Lichtfeldern gleich, werfen sie helle Reflexe auf die Wände des Museums. Der Ausgangspunkt, ein zweidimensionales Foto wird verräumlicht, Fläche in den Raum rückprojiziert.
