Architektur und Urbanität in der Kunst

Veronika Kellndorfer in Kunstforum International, Band 301

"Ob man sich innen oder außen aufhält, ist zunächst ein Aspekt der räumlichen Verortung. Veronika Kellndorfer umkreist das Feld der Möglichkeiten, Innenräume und Außenräume als aufeinanderbezogene Terrains zu betrachten. Architektur begreift sie dabei als ein Gefüge, auf dem sich Geschichte ablagert…"

Book Launch Wild Windows at Techne Sphere, Leipzig

Talk with Tereza de Arruda, Anne König and Veronika Kellndorfer

Wild Windows reflects the buildings of Lina Bo Bardi and the landscapes of Burle Marx as fragile monuments. A large portion of the book is devoted to Kellndorfer's photographic sources: architecture and plants. The talk is embedded in the exhibition Overcoming Gravity, through screen-printed glass sculptures, Kellndorfer explores a dialogue of transparency and opacity, where reflective glass meets the solidity of concrete. Positioned on concrete bases inspired by Lina Bo Bardi's crystal easels, these works create an ethereal presence – architecture within architecture.

Architecture and Nature in the Work of Lina Bo Bardi, Panel Discussion, Berlin

Talk with Renato Anelli, Sergei Tchoban and Veronika Kellndorfer moderated by Tereza de Arruda

In her early years in Brazil, Lina Bo Bardi vacillated between an architecture that observed nature and one that accepted and almost imitated it. The discussion negotiates the panel participants' different perspectives on the relationship between architectural space and the organic environment.
