Silkscreen on glass, three parts, 219 x 362 cm

Through rough wooden mullions the view from the rear window of the Schindler studio is of a bamboo grove.

The work’s three glass panels correspond to the real window in size and division into three parts of differing width, although the right-hand panel also shows the side window in perspective alignment. The work stands on blocks of wood and leans against the wall. The window of the exhibition space is reflected in the glass.

Der Blick aus dem rückwärtigen Fenster in Schindlers Studio-Haus fällt durch grobe, hölzerne Fenstersprossen auf einen Bambushain.

Die drei Glastafeln der Arbeit entsprechen dem echten Fenster in Größe und Aufteilung in drei unterschiedlich breite Teile, wobei die rechte Tafel perspektivisch fluchtend auch das Querfenster zeigt. Die Arbeit lehnt, nur auf Holzklötze gestellt, an der Wand, im Glas spiegelt sich das Fenster der Ausstellungshalle.
