A light sculpture created especially for the roof of the Faculty of Economic Studies in Magdeburg.
The current Dax, Dow Jones and Nikkei rates are displayed, constantly updated via the internet. The size of the work is based on the structure and rhythm of the façade, adopting the height and width of the central
entrance. The movements of the financial markets can be seen as a visible expression of the movements taking place on the global markets. Coloured changes of light. The three primary colours plus green relate to the reference
to the architect Bruno Taut which runs through the entire building.

Eine Lichtskulptur, konzipiert für das Wirtschaftswissenschafts-Gebäude der Magdeburger Universität. Die aktuellen Werte von Dax, Dow Jones und Nikkei werden angezeigt und per Internet in Echtzeit aktualisiert. Die Größe der Skulptur orientiert sich an Struktur und Rhythmus der Fassade und nimmt Höhe und
Breite des zentralen Eingangs auf. Die Anzeige der Finanzmarktbewegungen wird zum sichtbaren Ausdruck dessen, was auf den Weltmärkten an Bewegungen stattfindet. Die drei Primärfarben und Grün stellen einen Bezug zu Bruno Taut her, auf den weite Teile der Gebäudearchitektur referieren.
